In mid-November 2024, our EADT board was reorganized in Frankfurt's Klassikstadt: The team around Andreas Kunz, Bogna Stawarczyk, Carsten Fischer and Annett Kieschnick gained additional clinical and scientific expertise with Felicitas Mayinger, a distinguished dentist and scientist.
As EADT, we are particularly pleased that PD Dr. med. dent. Felicitas Mayinger from the LMU Munich is enriching our board with her special combination of clinical expertise and research skills in materials science. She succeeds Anja Liebermann, who is stepping down from the board during this election period for personal reasons. We would like to thank Anja for her many years of commitment and look forward to continuing our collaboration.
With Felicitas Mayinger we gain valuable synergies for the EADT eV: She combines dental practice with materials science expertise and contributes to evidence-based materials research with her clinical experience. "We build bridges between dentistry, dental technology, science and industry."
Professional exchange in a relaxed atmosphere
How we design modern training was shown at the subsequent TEAM Talk regulars' table: Our regional specialist regulars' tables, which we organize together with partners from the dental industry, thrive on direct dialogue. In Frankfurt, PD Dr. Adham Elsayed (Kuraray Noritake) invited people to an interactive discussion on the topic of bonding. Instead of theoretical platitudes, he provided concrete solutions and pointed out sources of error and stumbling blocks that can be eliminated in the collaboration between the laboratory and the practice. The lively specialist discussion continued in the stylish factory canteen in the Klassikstadt - a format that is characteristic of us: exchange on an equal footing in an inspiring atmosphere.
Our Vice President Prof. Dr. Bogna Stawarczyk sums it up: "The EADT stands for contemporary knowledge transfer without status thinking. We look forward to colleagues who share this vision of future-oriented dentistry with us."
