EADT meets DGPro – sharing is caring
for dentistry, dental technology, dental technology, science
Dental materials science encompasses far more than just the selection of materials. It influences processes, quality, and responsibility – within the complex interplay of technology, regulation, and dentistry. This is where the Materials Science Forum comes in.
At the annual meeting of the German Society for Prosthetic Dentistry and Biomaterials (DGPro) from June 11 to 13, 2026 in Bonn, the EADT eV will organize the Materials Science Forum.
Date: Jul 12.06.2026, 9 | 16.30 a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m
Location: Bonn (as part of the DGPro annual conference)
Reduced conference fee: Members of EADT eV and DGPro

Materials Science 2026: Status Future
Dental materials science determines how materials are processed, which processes are effective, and how responsibility is assumed in practice and laboratory. Automation, digital workflows, regulatory requirements, and clinical decisions are inextricably linked. The EADT addresses these topics as concrete questions: What is reliable? Where do new technologies truly help? And where is more differentiation needed instead of quick fixes?

Industry meets practice – the morning
The morning is dedicated to workshops. Partner companies of EADT eV will provide insights into material systems, clinical applications, and manufacturing concepts. The focus is not on new products, but rather on where material development and everyday clinical practice actually intersect today. Topics range from micro-layering and adhesive bonding to modern zirconia materials and scalable, cloud-based 3D printing processes.
Materials Science in Dialogue – Afternoon
The afternoon's program is structured as a thematic arc, progressing from an overview and contextualization to responsibility. Most of the speakers come from the ranks of the EADT e.V. "Sharing is Caring" is more than just a motto; the EADT has been committed to close collaboration between practice, laboratory, research, and dental technology for years.
