Berlin, March 2016: In March 2016, the founding of the Fachgesellschaft Zahntechnik (FZT) was announced. EADT eV is a founding member.
The FZT is a powerful umbrella organization of five dental technology institutions. The members of these institutions are organized jointly under the FZT umbrella through collective memberships. The umbrella organization handles administrative tasks. This collaboration within the FZT allows us, as EADT e.V., to fully concentrate on our core tasks. Scientific knowledge transfer is our expertise, and we will actively promote this area within the FZT. In the future, you can view the activities of the FZT, and therefore also those of the EADT, at: www.fachgesellschaft-zt.eu .
The club activities, priorities and traditions remain with the individual clubs. The board of the professional society is recruited from the boards of the associations. Hubert Schenk, Munich, was elected as president. The office of vice presidents is held by Andreas Kunz, Berlin and Björn Roland, Klein-Winternheim.
For confident dental technology
The FZT sees itself as a driver of innovative dental technology. As a specialist society, it examines the importance of new procedures for modern dental technology and serves as a contact for all questions relating to dental prosthetics and materials science for colleagues, dentists, patients, other specialist societies and the dental industry.
