Hello
There is exciting news to report from EADT eV! Some things are changing. A lot stays the same! But read for yourself.
EADT eV is perceived by the public as an association whose ideas are close to dental technicians and whose plans are often one step ahead of the times. With this intention, we have established ourselves in the industry and are now considered specialists. As specialists when it comes to the symbiosis of scientific knowledge and practical application in our craft. In order to be able to fully meet this important requirement of contemporary dental technology, we have now taken a big step forward.
EADT eV is realigning itself!
Under the motto “Only those who change can remain true to themselves” we are realigning ourselves without abandoning our tried and tested path. The realignment of the EADT has the task of strengthening the dental technician profession with knowledge. The dental technician's practical application experience should be strengthened through well-founded competence. For this purpose, at the last general meeting on December 08.12.2015th, 2 in Stuttgart, the association statutes of Section XNUMX of the association's purpose were adjusted with the consent of all members. The new club statutes can be viewed online or upon request. With our new board, which was elected at the general meeting, we stand for the collegial exchange between scientific findings and practical application - in both directions. As an EADT member, we invite you to actively contribute to this task with your ideas and experience.
- Let us take on this important function in our industry together.
You elected us: the new board
Our new board perfectly reflects the approach of EADT eV: combined know-how from science and the laboratory. ZTM Bogna Stawarczyk (University of Munich), ZTM Vincent Fehmer (University of Zurich), ZTM Andreas Kunz (Berlin), ZTM Carsten Fischer (Frankfurt/Main), ZTM German Bär (Sankt Augustin).
Part of a bigger whole
Our realignment is stabilized by another important pillar. EADT eV is a founding member of the Dental Technology Association (FZT). The FZT is a powerful umbrella organization of five dental technical institutions. The members of the associations organize themselves together under the umbrella of the FZT through collective memberships.
- As a member of EADT, you are automatically a member of FZT. As a fee, we pay EUR 100,00 per year from the EDAT membership fee to the FZT for each member.
To this end, the umbrella organization takes on administrative tasks, such as organizing consensus conferences, training courses, seminars, etc. As a non-profit association, we contribute our expertise. The merger in the FZT means that we can concentrate fully on our core tasks again. Scientific transfer is our competence and we will bring this area to life at the FZT. In the future you will be able to view the activities of the FZT and therefore also the activities of the EADT at: www.dentalnetworx.eu.
Move to Berlin
The consequence of our realignment is the move of the EADT office to Berlin. Here we will continue the club activities as usual. In the letterhead you will find our new address and new telephone number as well as the usual email address.
One for all: The Dental Technology Congress
The first FZT joint event will be the dental technology congress EXPERTISE on September 9th and 10th, 2016 in Kornwestheim. Together we have developed a unique conference format. All groups within the FZT contribute to the program. In some cases, teams are on stage that demonstrate a scientific topic and at the same time present its practical implementation in the laboratory. FZT members pay EUR 2 including meals for the 98,00-day congress. The FZT eV general meeting is affiliated with the congress. The invitation is attached to this cover letter.
This cover letter is longer than usual. But as you can see, there is a lot to report. A lot has happened and we are full of positive anticipation for everything that is to come! Do not hesitate to contact us and let us know your wishes and suggestions.
Yours sincerely
The board of EADT eV
